The Cartoon Logo Creation Process

 

Step One: Establishing Contact

 

You have two options for this step. Your first option is to fill out the quote request form, and your second option is to contact The Zone directly.

 

Once I receive your email, I will send you a quote estimate. This price is subject to change based on the number of sketch revisions you want.

 

With each cartoon logo design, you get one FREE sketch revision, and after this each sketch revision will cost you a small fee. This means that after I send you your initial sketch, you can revise it once for free, and each time after that I will charge a small fee.

 

Once we agree upon a design idea, you send a 50% deposit of the cost via paypal or credit card.

 

Step Two: Creating a Sketch

 

After we have agreed upon a price and you have sent me the 50% deposit, we will move on to the sketch phase. During this time I will create a rough sketch of your design, which will later serve as a guide during the digital process.

 

Keep in mind that the final design will always look better than the sketch because the software tools are more accurate than the human hand.

 

 

 

 

Step Three: Digital Inking

At this point we have agreed upon a cartoon sketch and I proceed to scan that sketch into the computer. From here, I digitally ink the design line by line in Adobe Photoshop. The result is a cartoon design with crisp, expressive line quality.

As you can see on this funny cartoon shark, I had changed his eyebrow shape once I inked him up. I also added gills and changed his fins a bit.

 

 

 

 

 

Step Four: Picking Colors

Here is when you choose which colors you want in your cartoon logo design. I will send you a picture of your logo without color, and you can decide which colors work for you.

If you are having trouble picking some eye-catching colors, then leave it up to me. I will take care of it because I know which colors work with any type of audience.

 

 

 

Step Five: File Transfer

 

Your custom cartoon logo is complete! Now it's time for me to transfer the files over to you. All you have to do is pay the remaining 50% of the cost and I will send you multiple file formats including the vector file, which is scalable to any size.
